Congratulations to Ragan’s Top Places to Work and Employee Communications Awards Winners
The N factor sets Model N apart
The CEO gave everyone a week off in 2021, meetings are banned on Wednesdays and affinity groups help employees connect, making Model N a Top Place to Work in Ragan’s Employee Communication and Top Places to Work Awards.
The diversity and uniqueness of the employees at Model N is referred to as an N Factor, making the tech company strong and successful. The culture is driven by a set of core values called DARE:
- Dream: Empowering people to reach for new possibilities.
- Align: Working collaboratively to achieve great things together.
- Respect: Cultivating an inclusive workplace committed to supporting the uniqueness of every individual.
- Excel: Delivering exceptional value for our customers and succeeding together as a team.
Over the past year, Model N bolstered its commitment to its culture by investing in diversity recruiting efforts, maintaining 100% pay parity across gender, race and ethnicity, and launching employee affinity groups for employees with similar backgrounds and interests to connect, network and build community.
To boost its commitment to employee self-care, CEO Jason Blessing gave everyone in the company a week off in July 2021, encouraging employees to “recharge, spend time and reconnect with loved ones, and do things you enjoy.” He also encouraged staff to share photos of their time off.
In addition, Model N has instituted No Meeting (or Focus) Wednesdays, provided guidance on positive email and meeting etiquette and continues to build its health and wellness offerings to make sure employees are supported and feel equipped to show up and give their best each day.
